Surf Rowing @ Henley

Mack dogs Satates 2012

The surfboat is an oar-driven boat designed to enter the ocean from the beach in heavy surf or severe waves. Surf rowing at Henley is fun and competitive. The club has been experiencing a surge of interest in the sport and as a result has achieved the enviable status of having strong crews of men and women across all competitive divisions. Traditionally a male-dominated sport, the Australian Surf Rowers League (ASRL) have just released two new female divisions to represent the growing number of females entering the sport. The 2016/17 Competition Divisions will now include:

  • Open Men
  • Open Women
  • Reserve Men
  • Reserve Women
  • U23 Men
  • U23 Women
  • U19 Men
  • U19 Women
  • Masters (30+) Men
  • Masters (30+) Women
