Her first trip away and she excelled in the pool events, especially winning the 100m brick carry and line throw. Coming second in 50m brick carry and 100m mannequin tow. She helped SA win the obstacle relay and place second in the relay.

On the beach Aimee came second in flags, third in the sprint and helped her team place second in the beach relay. In the swim she placed sixth and the boards fifth. The team came second in swim and board relay and a fourth in board rescue rounded out the weekend. South Australia came second to the Vics overall.

Hanging out with surf lifesavers from other states was the highlight of the weekend for Aimee. The entire camp has inspired her to continue to improve in all events and proved to her she can be competitive on the beach.

Congratulations and well done to Amiee for a great carnival.
