The Breakfast of Champions celebrating our pioneering women lifesavers in SA and formally launching the Surf Sisters Initiative was a very special and inspirational day for those who came along, if you missed this one, you can read all about it here http://www.surflifesavingsa.com.au/main/news/2015/11/surf-sisters-breakfast-of-champions/.
Throughout the season, Surf Sisters will promote an on-going calendar of events and programs. Providing a network of engaged women who support and encourage involvement with Surf Life Saving, ‘Surf Sisters’ endeavours to develop the talent of female members and create opportunities through a social framework. And we hope that Clubs will embrace the Surf Sisters initiative and host their own Surf Sisters events in the future as well support the State run events on this year’s calendar.
