Ocean Bar + Kitchen

Ocean Bar & Kitchen is an Italian-inspired beach restaurant that highlights the spectacular coastal views from the Henley Beach Surf Life Saving Club’s first floor. Situated on the Henley Beach beachfront, Ocean Bar & Kitchen boasts spectacular left to right coastal views with a beautiful beach vibe.

Henley Beach Surf Life Saving Club was the first Surf Life Saving Club in South Australia, formed in 1925, and the clubrooms were rebuilt to include the essential emergency services as well as the upstairs restaurant and bar in 2014.

The new addition of Ocean Bar & Kitchen means Henley Beach Surf Life Saving Clue volunteers can continue to focus on keeping the public safe on the beach, whilst leaving the kitchen to the experienced Ocean team.

“Ocean is probably the best restaurant location in Adelaide,” Adam says.

“Sitting on Henley Beach, beachfront, left to right coastal views with a beautiful beach vibe to it.

“We’re creating that Sorrento Italian coastal feel, but very simply done — we’re not trying to complicate things.”

Menu-wise, it will again highlight Italian cuisine, with pasta a feature.
