Henley was well represented at the recent SLSSA Inaugural Surf Life Saving SA Hall of Fame and SA Awards of Excellence Ball.
Club founders, Merv Butterfield and Chook Fielder were inducted into the Hall of Fame and were represented on the night by their sons, our Club Patron, John Butterfield and Life Member, Nev Fielder.
Barry Duhne OAM was also inducted into the Hall of Fame for his outstanding contribution to Surf Sports.
Geoff Brennecke was recognised for his outstanding contribution of 30 years service, and particularly to helicopter operations.
Patrol Captain, Steve Horsman was awarded SA Lifesaver of the Year and Chief Instructor, Stefan Starkey was awarded SA Trainer of the Year.
