Thanks to all patrolling members who gave their time to keep our beach safe over the 2015/16 season. Between October and March, Henley volunteers made it possible to carry out over 70 patrols. This included Christmas Day, extreme weather patrols, special events, water cover for jetty to jetty swims, Easter holidays and radio cover at SurfCom.

Patrol group information is being updated to include newly qualified bronze members and to reflect all current qualifications. Revised documents will be emailed via Surfguard in the next few weeks. This will give you plenty of time to check details before the new season starts.

At Aussies, the Amazons won Gold in the 120 Women Masters – CONGRATULATIONS.
The U19 Men, Reserve Men and Open Women all got through to the elimination rounds (half way cut).
The U19 Women (Falcons) competed well in U23 Women at their first Aussie Titles and have another 6 years in this division – a lot to look forward to.
The Open Women (Strikers) made it to the last 16 Q/F in Open Women, which was a great effort for their first time in the premier division.
Henley also had a team in boat relay and the state competed strongly, gaining a 3rd in their heat.
It was a great team effort overall!

Over winter our older boats will be stored at the club for use to take the load from the race boats. Please ensure they are washed and drained correctly after use.
The date for the ASRLSA dinner is not set yet but is looking like July 23rd.
